Which areas of Nice are good places to invest ?

20 December 2023

The districts of Nice in which to invest are Vieux-Nice, because it is a historic district with atypical and narrow architecture. This tourist area of Nice is full of charm and very lively both day and night, with its old artisanal food shops, artists' galleries and restaurants serving specialities from Nice. Vieux-Nice is also a Mecca for Nice nightlife.

In terms of investment, it offers the best return.

- The port is a very attractive area for rental investment. Its geographical position is an asset, as it is at the heart of Nice and offers one of the gateways to Corsica.

- The Cimiez district, to the north-east of Nice, is a residential area perched in the hills. It is home to a number of large villas and is a popular area for Nice families. Its luxury properties are generally reserved for seasonal rental (mainly during the summer months) and are aimed at a foreign clientele.

- Nice Ouest also attracts Nice families thanks to its living environment. This part of Nice is far from the city centre, and areas such as Fabron, Sainte-Marguerite and Corniche fleurie remain very popular. The district does, however, benefit from good road links with the city centre, Cannes and Monaco.

- Nice Carré d'Or is the chic district of Nice. It stretches from Place Masséna to the pedestrian zone, and boasts a unique location. The setting is peaceful. There are numerous parks lined with wide boulevards, restaurants and luxury shops. A rental or residential investment here will be highly profitable.
